So I was stalking a friend’s, Jill Buckley’s, IG account the other day. She always has super yummy and easy recipes for her little girls so I figured I’d give some of them a try. I am, after all, trying to get my kids to eat a little better this school year, so what could it hurt? First up on my “To Try” list was her peanut butter protein bites. I have all FOUR of the ingredients in my pantry already so yippee, no extra shopping trip!! Win, win!
These protein packed little balls of peanut buttery goodness were one of the easiest snacks I’ve made that was actually good for you too. Just mix all 4 ingredients in a bowl and form little balls. I put them in the fridge so they wouldn’t get warm and gooey, and to be honest they taste better chilly. They go great with a glass of milk or even toast, too. Holy yumminess!
Here’s the official recipe:
~Protein Peanut Butter Bites~ (recipe is doubled)
*1 cup peanut butter
*2 scoops vanilla protein powder
*4 Tblsps maple syrup
*4 Tblsps (or more) chocolate chips
My kids, and husband, ate my first batch up in a single evening!!! Now I’m doubling the recipe so there’s more to go around 🙂
